Welcome to Templenewsam Halton Primary School
At Templenewsam Halton Primary School, we work hard to provide the best possible education for every child in a happy, caring and supportive environment. We want all children to enjoy coming to school, feel inspired to learn, and achieve their full potential. We hope our website gives you a flavour of what it feels like to be part of our wonderful school.
We believe in supporting the whole child, helping them grow academically, socially and emotionally. Through our school values, children learn to be kind, respectful, cooperative and understanding of others. We help them develop confidence, make positive choices, and understand the difference between right and wrong.
As an inclusive school, we are committed to ensuring that every child feels valued and supported. We help children understand their emotions, build resilience, and learn how to keep themselves and others safe. We celebrate diversity and encourage children to become happy, healthy and responsible members of society.
We recognise the important role families play in a child's education and believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential. We take time to listen to families, build trusting relationships, and always put children's best interests at the centre of everything we do.
Our Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and pastoral support team work closely together to support children's social, emotional and mental health needs. This helps every child feel ready to learn and succeed.
Our curriculum offers a wide range of experiences that prepare children for life in modern Britain. We teach children to communicate effectively, respect and celebrate differences, care for the environment, and become thoughtful, independent learners.
Above all, we aim to inspire children to be curious, confident and motivated, encouraging them to question the world around them and develop a lifelong love of learning.
